SouthwestNo snow sounds good to me this winter, though I know from a lifetime of living here that it's a pipe dream. I loved snow when I was a kid, but now the snow and cold make me hurt to much. I hate driving in it, and get depressed with all the gloomy days. I'd move south except I love West Michigan during the other 3 seasons. I would hate to see a green Christmas though. Snow for Christmas, green for New Years sounds good.

National meteorologists agree that Michigan is in a 'La Nina' weather pattern, which traditionally means more snow and colder temperatures. 'I think this winter is going to be an exceptional one,' said AccuWeather forecaster Paul Pastelok. He predicts that Michigan's southwest corner, and up to Traverse City, should prepare for early season snows, fueled by cold northwest winds crossing warm Lake Michigan waters.

Brown is understandably thrilled by the consistent acknowledgement of Southwest by Recommend's readers. 'Southwest Airlines is proud to receive this award for the fourth year in a row as it states our commitment to provide the best value to our customers,' he says.
