Winter Hiking Halifax
I was originally born in outside of Toronto, Ontario. I spent the first six years of my childhood there until I moved to the north of Scotland with my family. Living in Scotland comprised some of the best and most memorable years of my life, as I lived in an extremely rural area attending a school with only eight other students. I then found myself back home in Canada in Victoria, British Colombia. After two years there I made my way to my current place of residence, Windsor, Nova Scotia!

One of my greatest joys in life is the outdoors. I love spending my time outside, rain or shine! Physical activity in the outdoors is an unsurpassed delight of mine whether it be hiking, kayaking, jogging, snowboarding, soccer or just walking and enjoying the scenery and exploring. Hiking is a particular activity that has captured my interest. This past year I had been training for an expedition to Tanzania where I successfully climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro Africa's highest peak carrying a pack equalling almost half my body weight. Volleyball is also another physical activity that i greatly enjoy, even though its predominately an indoor sport. The precision and technique required for the game is what makes it so stimulating, and interesting. It continues to pose new challenges which I gladly rise to meet!
