Winter Hiking Texas

Jim Garfield (M M) and Amy Schwenck (Human Resources) had a blast joining 30,000 other runners and Active colleagues running the SD Rock and Roll half marathon. I was running for our Sony ambassador team launching a new MP3 Walkman product (very cool). We were fortunate in scoring VIP bathroom passes at the beginning of the race!!

MATTHEW HENRY (Bothell, WA) - Played a tight game of ultimate frisbee against Risk in the final playoff game on Friday night.& 160; In the end, the Game of Life lost 13-12 on universe point.& 160; They made an amazing diving catch on a tipped pass in the end zone to end the game.& 160; Can't think of a better way to lose than that.& 160; On Sunday night, the Sentinels played the Loose Cannons and this time they had a goalie.& 160; It was another close game, eventually going in their favor 2-1.& 160; The game could have gone either way, but their goalie made some amazing saves to keep them in it.& 160; On Saturday, Matt cheered on Austin Braaten and Michelle Nation as they ran from Mount Rainier to Tacoma (a mere 50 miles).& 160; They made everything I did this weekend look like a walk in the park.& 160; They were in such great spirits, if a bit exhausted, throughout the day in the nicest, hottest day of the year (for non-runners).& 160; They are rockstars in every sense of the word!

JAKE COONEY, Senior Web Designer and PENJOR NGUDUP hiked to the top of Mt. Si in North Bend, WA. On the way back we stopped to snap a pic from a famous 90's TV location. Both the weather and the view from the top were spectacular. However, my pop culture-obsessed mind thought this was the coolest part.
